Brandon Maxwell is a Los Angeles-based dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, and educator. He is a graduate of Chapman University with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Public Relations and Advertising. As a choreographer, he has collaborated with fellow artists to create projects that emphasize storytelling and artistry. Some of his recent choreography credits include Club Jete, Choreographer's Carnival, Hollywood Reporter, World of Dance, Chapman University, VOICES Fest, Reconstruct Exhibition, Contra Coffee + Tea, Chozin, and more.
As an educator, he spread his love of dance to students of all ages at dance studios, schools, charitable organizations, and collegiate universities across the country. He has experience teaching styles including commercial choreography, hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and more to all ages. He emphasizes musicality and the fusion of multiple styles in his classes while creating a supportive environment for dancers to learn, grow, and take risks in developing their artistry. Some of his recent teaching credits include Lume Dance Collective, Camarillo Academy of Performing Arts, Crew Studios, Chapman University, Centerstage Dance Academy, and more.
