Brandon Maxwell is an award-winning Los Angeles-based dancer, choreographer, filmmaker, and educator. He is a graduate of Chapman University with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Public Relations and Advertising. As a filmmaker, his debut short film was the recipient of the City of Los Angeles’ Dance in the City commission. His debut film received the Best GENiUS Short Film Award at DaVinci International Film Festival and the Best First Time Filmmaker Award at Manhattanhenge Film Festival. His films have been selected for IndieFilm LA, Lighthouse International Film Festival, Atlanta Micro Short Film Festival, Newark Independent Film Festival, LankerScream Festival of Fright, Leftover Film Festival, Lift-Off Global Network, and more. He is a member of HMG the Company, Ardor Effect, along with the Television Academy and the National Dance Educators Organization.
